Can use graphing or modeling software to share those models with others. – Linked Data for Professional Education https://ld4pe.dublincore.org Learning resources tagged by competency Thu, 19 Nov 2020 14:45:03 +0000 en-US hourly 1 https://wordpress.org/?v=4.9.16 Visualizing RDF Graphs https://ld4pe.dublincore.org/learning_resource/visualizing-rdf-graphs/ Mon, 09 Jan 2017 06:45:30 +0000 https://ld4pe.dublincore.org/learning_resource/visualizing-rdf-graphs/ In this video tutorial, the presenter uses Omnigraffle to sketch out the RDF data model, explaining each component as he does so. The walk-through is not purely conceptual; the presenter also uses data from an RDF/XML file to fill in the URIs corresponding to the nodes and edges of his graph. Finally, a second RDF visualization tool, RDF Gravity, is briefly demonstrated.

Implementing Graph Transformation Languages using RDF Storage and SPARQL Queries https://ld4pe.dublincore.org/learning_resource/implementing-graph-transformation-languages-using-rdf-storage-and-sparql-queries-2/ Thu, 24 Nov 2016 05:51:18 +0000 https://ld4pe.dublincore.org/learning_resource/implementing-graph-transformation-languages-using-rdf-storage-and-sparql-queries-2/ RDF has so far not been widely used in the context of graph rewriting tools. In this paper, the authors take AToMPM, a research-oriented meta-modelling and graph rewriting tool and extend it by adding RDF-based graph transformation functionality. Addressed is the graph matching problem, generating custom SPARQL queries for each rule pattern, and using them to efficiently perform matches on a source RDF graph.

W3C RDF Validation Service https://ld4pe.dublincore.org/learning_resource/w3c-rdf-validation-service/ https://ld4pe.dublincore.org/learning_resource/w3c-rdf-validation-service/#respond Thu, 13 Aug 2015 03:26:19 +0000 https://ld4pe.dublincore.org/learning_resource/w3c-rdf-validation-service/ This free service allows you to check and visualize your RDF documents. By entering a URI or pasting an RDF/XML document into the text field, a triple representation of the corresponding data model as well as an optional graphical visualization of the data model will be displayed.

Interaction with Linked Data https://ld4pe.dublincore.org/learning_resource/interaction-with-linked-data/ https://ld4pe.dublincore.org/learning_resource/interaction-with-linked-data/#respond Thu, 13 Aug 2015 03:26:17 +0000 https://ld4pe.dublincore.org/learning_resource/interaction-with-linked-data/ This slide presentation focuses on providing users the means for exploring Linked Data. It gives an overview of current visualization tools and techniques, looking at semantic browsers and applications for presenting the data to the end user. Also described are existing search options, based on a mix of semantic information and text processing. Finally, the presentation concludes with approaches for Linked Data analysis, describing how available data can be synthesized and processed in order to draw conclusions. NOTE: These slides represent material from several lessons that comprised a larger "module" of the EUCLID Project. As such, they cover a wider range of topics than most resources.
