This resource is the first in a series of six and serves as an overview. It explains the author's intentions to create a blog-based tutorial for "properly" publishing Linked Data. By "properly", the author is referring to making Linked Data an accessible resource (both human and machine readable) with documentation, examples, and a specified license. The author introduces two sources from which he has based his requirements for publishing Linked Data: the 5-Star Vocabulary requirements created by Bernard Vatant and the AMOR manifesto written by Raúl García-Castro. Both of these approaches are based in Tim Berners Lee’s Linked Data 5-star rating, and complement each other.
