This slide presentation focuses on search interoperability, which the author defines as the "ability to perform a search over diverse sets of metadata records to obtain meaningful results". Sets of records using different Dublin Core and MARC are presented to illustrate the challenges of using crosswalks to map between metadata schemes. Also includes a link to data files to use for an exercise with MarcEdit.
