This is a PDF version of a presentation originally given at Taxonomy Boot Camp 2014. It contains a practical example of how to use taxonomies to index and classify unstructured data (in this case, notes related to medical risks) and then model them in AllegroGraph. It then goes further to show how to make this model even better by using Linked Open Data to connect to other datasets, such as SNOMED and MESH.
